Examples of our previous bespoke training programmes
Developed a a three module short-course in climate and biodiversity coaching for UK Government’s agency – Natural England
- To develop coaching skills including deep listening, emotional intelligence, well-being and health together with action on the ground.
- To support a shift in the culture of the organisation and demonstrate how coaching approaches can enhance the way in which climate change is discussed.
- To integrate emotional regulation for a more balanced way of working, building individual and collective resilience.
- Enabling language, stories and conversations to adapt for a greater positive impact on biodiversity and climate change.
- Discussing how climate change is embedded within the need for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at all levels of the organisation.

Process for participants (outside in nature where possible)
- 4×3 hours of on-line live sessions with facilitators (including breaks)
- 6.5 hours self-study and reflective practice (pre and post live sessions)
- 3 x 1 hour cross-cultural buddy co-coaching conversations after each live session (walking in nature on phone)
- 1.5 hours on-line live session (to integrate learning, planting of seeds and reflection in nature)
Outline of content
What is coaching, who are we, our stories, for whom is this relevant in the context of climate and biodiversity needs
- An initial discussion of needs and interests. Mapping their potential networks for use in course content.
- Discussion of internal needs – wellbeing and health in relation to the current status of climate and biodiversity. Emotions and values, aligning our head, heart and gut
- One tool/technique to develop beyond module 1 with buddy
- Coaching Skills tailored to the language of the organisation and their partners
